Welcome to Inside KisanHub, a selection of interviews with the talented people behind the KisanHub tech. This month we caught up with Dominika Gluchowska, in the Engineering team.
I come from Poland and I joined KisanHub as a Front-end Developer more than a year ago. My job is to implement visual elements that users can see and interact with.
Currently I’m working on Supply Intelligence Management solutions that includes Paperless Load Tickets and Network Management. I’m very excited to work on a feature that will help growers and companies to solve their hassle around filing paper forms and help them save time. The solution is available from phone app and the web and it is implemented to save as much time as possible (all possible fields in the form will be automatically pre-populated with data that is already known).
For me the most enjoyable part of working at KisanHub is helping people solve their problems using cutting edge technologies. I enjoy working in a professional atmosphere where everyone cares about the quality of their work.
My inspiration is my daughter. Children are so creative, if they don’t know how to use something they will invent the way and they don’t give up. It is very important at work and in every aspect of life. We can't stick to the old ways we used to work all the time. Being open minded is the only way to grow.
Professionalism, innovation, passion.
Either I will find a way, or I will make one. There is nothing that cannot be done in software development. Everything is a matter of time and good understanding of the problem.
My favourite fruit is apple, especially the ‘Kosztela’ variety. It is Polish variety of apple tree that grew in all of the orchards in my neighbourhood when I was a kid. It is really sweet and juicy. It should be harvested in late September but it is best to eat after being stored in a cold place for 1-2 months. Which is great because you can enjoy eating tasty apples in winter time when there are no longer many fruits in season!
